Versatility Of Plastic
Plastic has become a great material when used correctly. It has a lot of properties that other materials can't offer and has been widely used in all industries. For example, in automotive design, plastic is used in ways to improve safety, performance & fuel efficiency due to it being strong, mould-able & lightweight whilst also being non-conductive.
The benefits of plastic such as being waterproof, water-resistant, rust-free, hardwearing, durable, high heat-resistance, easily cleaned & recyclable.
Using plastic is also usually more cost-effective that other materials and can be reused many times over before needing to be replaced.
