Plastic Welding

Plastic welding is the process of using a hot air gun & pressure to weld two faces of plastic together with welding rod. Once cooled, this then forms a strong & durable water-tight bond.
The most common plastics we weld are PP (polypropylene), PE (Polyethylene) - HDPE, LDPE, ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) & PVC (polyvinyl chloride). Other polymers can be welded.

Plastic welding can be used to strengthen & reinforce our products, make dividers & inserts for maximising space & repair expensive items like boats, canoes, water tanks, silos, wheelie bins, agricultural machinery & more. We can also offer a mobile welding service.
It can also be used to create bespoke prototypes & one-offs to avoid paying the expensive tooling costs other methods incur.
